I heard more common sense from Ron Paul on foreign policy in this one clip than I’ve heard for the entire campaign season. You need to watch this entire clip - it’s like 5 minutes long.

I’ve followed Huckabee’s campaign closely, and believe me, if he gets the nomination, I will most definitely give him my vote. But more and more, I see how much more consititutional and how much more sensical Ron Paul figures a lot of things. Personally, I’m torn between the two. Thank Hank.

It’s unfortunate that common sense is what incurs laughs for the other candidates. I hope McCain doesn’t try out for stand-up anytime soon. Also, what a slip he had with “it’s not American casualties, it’s American presence…” unfortunately the video cut at that point, but I remember watching the debate and was like… what? *sighs*

I’d say Paul made McCain and Huckabee look foolish. And I think, in this case, they are. Why is it so difficult to understand that we simply can’t afford to play nanny to the world?

Bryan - I felt the exact same way. McCain’s humor needs a LOT of polish, and some timing work. It did kind of make Paul look straight-laced when he responded like he did to a joke, but - as usual - he hit the nail on the head.
David - No kidding. Especially if we are going in debt to China to support it…
